When Brooke first posted a story on her Instagram at Newmarket Mills, I knew we needed to have her and Toren’s engagement session there! It is a special spot to them – close to their hometowns and where they got engaged – and I love when I can photograph couples in such a meaningful place. It also gave us the chance to scope out their wedding venue and first look location (eeee!) so now I flipping can’t wait for October. Although it’s been feeling a lot like October recently. Sigh. But anyway, luckily we were graced with actual sun for their session, and Brooke and Toren are the actual cutest. No, really, the actual cutest. We grabbed snacks (mmm tacos!) and drinks and tons of laughs before the session, chatting about their wedding and how they met (which in case you’re curious, involves Brooke asking Toren’s mother how she knows him haha!) Engagement sessions are some of my absolute favorites because I love this chance to get to know my clients better. I love the connection between these two, especially how they look at each other. Just so full of love. When Toren proposed he wrote Brooke a letter, and I had Pirouette Paper calligraphy an excerpt in their wedding colors. Turns out the piece I chose is a Game of Thrones reference and I have a lot of Netflix to catch up on… after wedding season! I think I’ll let these two “speak” for themselves. And seriously, can we talk about Brooke’s eyes? I swoon. They’re going to be the most beautiful bride and groom in just 4 short months!
What a gift you have for capturing such special moments. Beautiful photos. ❤️
Wow! Absolutely amazing the way you’ve captured them! I’ve known Toren since he was a "wee one" and it is wonderful to see him so happy and complete! Beautiful couple and beautiful pictures! Congrats to you both Toren and Brooke! <3
