Happy New Year! Can you believe it’s already 2018?! I feel like this past year just flew by! One of the highlights was a trip up to Maine for a workshop where KAngell Photography and I had a wild hair to do a styled shoot (which turned into two!) while we were visiting! I reached out to Jamie of Cider House Designs and she eagerly jumped on board to help pull together this beautiful day. Jamie is a magician, seriously! We couldn’t have pulled any of this off without her and her talent. Because the dress had such a classic, romantic feel we wanted to create the feel of an intimate elopement. Our vision was that our couple traveled up to Portland for a little destination weekend to exchange vows, followed by dinner and drinks amidst the New England charm . Although our models aren’t married yet, Molly and Marcus were up for playing dress up before their real wedding! You can feel their connection in the way these two look at each other. I think these images are the perfect way to kick off the new year and the perfect inspiration for NYE brides planning their big day! A huge thank you to all the vendors who helped make this shoot a reality!
