I am so excited to get to know you more. I bring my whole self to this work, which includes my fight for equity and justice. I am not a photographer who separates my beliefs and passions from photographing humans because I don’t believe they’re separate. I can't ask you to be vulnerable if I'm not willing to do the same.

World’s End Engagement Session
September 16, 2019
I remember the first phone call I had with Nora and Connie when they began their hunt for a photographer for their wedding. It felt instantly comfortable – and I remember laughing so much. These two are so funny! Their engagement session at World’s End was also full of so much laughter. Mostly we laughed at me about how afraid I was of all of us getting covered in poison ivy (but can you even imagine?) and how much Connie hates photos (it’s a lot). When we first arrived, we took the path up the hill and came upon deer frolicking in the large, open field in the middle of the day. World’s End is just a bit outside of Boston in Hingham and it immediately felt like we were worlds away (see what I did there?) I love being able to explore new places with couples and this spot is perfect. There’s a beautiful rocky beach, wooded trails, and views in all directions – including when we lucked out with a sunny rainbow in the clouds! Nora and I actually first met through our local Rising Tide group; she’s a super talented calligrapher and designer! We bonded over our love of Portland and Maine in general, and their families are coming from all over (including Ireland!) for their Marianmade Farm wedding next weekend. It’s going to be such a good day!
