I am so excited to get to know you more. I bring my whole self to this work, which includes my fight for equity and justice. I am not a photographer who separates my beliefs and passions from photographing humans because I don’t believe they’re separate. I can't ask you to be vulnerable if I'm not willing to do the same.

Intimate Arnold Arboretum Wedding
April 28, 2020
Hayley and Jason had an intimate wedding ceremony in the Arboretum, off the path and nestled amongst the trees. The Arboretum was a natural choice for their wedding, as it’s practically in their backyard! It was the perfect compliment to their backyard reception. Intimate weddings always feel so cozy, and their entire day just felt like they were wrapped up in a giant hug. They chose a clearing in the forest at the bottom of a small hill for their ceremony, which made for a beautiful and dramatic entrance as they descended down the hill to their guests. I absolutely loved how Hayley and Jason both walked down the aisle with their parents. It was a really special moment. Friends and family lined the aisle and Katie of Bloom 52 created floral magic with an installation in the tree behind them, as well as florals lining the aisle. After the ceremony, everyone went back to their house where their backyard had been transformed with lanterns in the trees, string lights, and a cozy tent. As guests mingled, Wendi Gray did a live painting to memorialize the scene and provide them with an incredible piece of art. Family gave heartfelt, emotional speeches as candles burned down. We snuck out just before the sunset to snuggle on the golf course. Those private moments where couples can enjoy a little time alone together to soak in the day are always some of my favorite. I loved seeing how at peace Hayley and Jason seemed in each other’s arms. It’s hard to believe it’s almost been a year since this lovely day! Wishing a very happy first anniversary to these two!
