When I first spoke to Bujing about photographing her engagement session, she told me she wanted to go to Beacon Hill because she said it was what made her fall in love with Boston when she first came to the city. Beacon Hill is so lovely, I was beyond happy to spend another evening in the city! She and Jianbo (her fiancé at the time but now husband!) met me first on Acorn Street before later venturing over to the Public Gardens to end the evening. As you can see, Bujing was decked out in her seriously gorgeous wedding gown, which come to find out, her friend handmade for her! Can you believe that? The layers and movement of the dress were so perfect and complimented her beautifully. But wait, she had another handmade wedding dress in the car for an outfit change! Give me all the wedding dresses and veils! Yassss.
Bujing and Jianbo are so sweet and cute together. Their relationship is long distance right now, so Jianbo was in town for the week of their wedding and they squeezed in as much as they could fit! While he’ll hopefully end up in Boston soon, they are still apart for now so it was extra special to be able to photograph them together before their wedding just a few days later in Maine. I loved watching these two interact and seeing how protective he is of her, and how she brings out his playful side. Plus, she brought two friends along to help and let me tell you, having some assistants was awesome! Instant veil holders and dress fluffers – the best. The moon was out, the weather was perfection, and there was a whole lot of love! Now these two are now officially husband and wife! Wishing you two years and years of happiness! Congratulations!
Gorgeous Kendra! Love that you can see the moon !!!
Pure magic! I love them all, but the once of them dancing on the cobblestones made my heart melt. You have such a gift for capturing the essence of the moment. I’m so happy that you are able to do what you love.
I love the dancing photos and, of course, the public garden! What a beautiful couple!
Thank you so much Kendra!!! Me and Jianbo were stunned by your work. I enjoyed the dancing/turning ones a lot. haha. Boston that evening was in such a nice mood with beautiful sunlight veiling the hill and pond.
