Mattie + Scott // Maine Lakeside Engagement Session // Boston Engagement Photographer

I am so excited for Mattie and Scott’s wedding at The Stone Barn this October! For their engagement session we met up at their venue to explore the area and check out Sebago Lake at St. Joseph’s College. The Stone Barn is tucked away in Standish, Maine and being from Portland it’s always special when I have the opportunity to return to my home state. The state of Maine is simply the best, and the lake is such a hidden gem tucked away at the end of the path on campus. I connected with Mattie and Scott right away because like my husband and I, these two are also high school sweethearts. They started dating the fall of their senior year! They are so sweet together, with such a calm energy between them. When you have been together for as long as they have, a familiarity develops between you and you can tell these two are at home together. Scott proposed to Mattie on a trip to Ireland, so they brought a bottle of Jameson to their session and did a celebratory shot at the end of our session! I would never want to rush summer, but this fall is going to be magical.
