I am so excited to get to know you more. I bring my whole self to this work, which includes my fight for equity and justice. I am not a photographer who separates my beliefs and passions from photographing humans because I don’t believe they’re separate. I can't ask you to be vulnerable if I'm not willing to do the same.

Boston Navy Yard Engagement Session
May 4, 2020
Alexa and Nicola are the kind of people that immediately make you feel welcome and at ease. They exude such a calm warmth together, that I think is obvious just from the photos alone. We met up last year actually, just after they had gotten engaged, down along the Boston Navy Yard. I was excited to photograph a session entirely in film, and we lucked out with the absolute more perfect light that evening. The dock company was generous enough to let us sneak on down among the boats as the sun was going down, and then we strolled down the shipyard and danced along the water with the Boston skyline in the background.
It’s the perfect spot for views of Boston, while also being more secluded and quiet than most spots around Boston in the spring and summer. The thing I loved most about photographing these two was how carefree they are together – the chemistry between them is obvious and they are immediately at home together. They were supposed to be married in Italy this past week, but had to cancel their wedding when the pandemic broke out. I know that when they are finally able to have their full celebration, it will be so full of the love and warmth that they have between them. Sending you two all the love and warm wishes right now!
