I am so excited to get to know you more. I bring my whole self to this work, which includes my fight for equity and justice. I am not a photographer who separates my beliefs and passions from photographing humans because I don’t believe they’re separate. I can't ask you to be vulnerable if I'm not willing to do the same.

Spring Inspired Editorial at Glen Magna Farms
March 30, 2020
Would you believe me if I told you that we planned this editorial in just a week? Or that we photographed it on a day in February where it hit almost 70? I wouldn’t believe it either, but that’s exactly what happened. It was one of those wild hair ideas where Kat and I (of Katherine Brackman Photography) were itching to shoot and saw that the forecast for the following week was going to be warm. Spring warm. In fact, it was going to be almost 70. We quickly reached out to the fabulous and spontaneous Kate of Kate Murtaugh Events + Design and jumped on an idea for a spring inspired shoot. We decided to go bold on the blush with accents of yellow, white, and green. I’m always a fan of any wedding dress that bucks tradition and this blush organza gown had such dramatic flair and movement. Glen Magna was the perfect setting for this – and although their gardens hadn’t bloomed yet, the green in their architecture was the perfect nod to spring. What a day! I am so looking forward to warm spring days like this when things get back to normal. For now we can enjoy a little beauty of creativity and collaboration.
