I am so excited to get to know you more. I bring my whole self to this work, which includes my fight for equity and justice. I am not a photographer who separates my beliefs and passions from photographing humans because I don’t believe they’re separate. I can't ask you to be vulnerable if I'm not willing to do the same.

South Boston Dockside Engagement
September 3, 2019
Kiera and Dom are getting married this weekend on Thompson Island so I had to get back on my blogging train to share their engagement session before the big day! These two live in South Boston now, but actually met in high school and even dated for a year before going their separate ways. I kind of really love love stories where this happens, because it feels like such extra strong fate that they eventually met up again for drinks in Boston after Dom’s sister got engaged. The rest is history! When we initially started throwing around ideas for their engagement session they mentioned that they have a boat and love boating. In fact, it’s actually how they decided on Thompson Island – constantly passing it on their trips around Boston Harbor. Then Katie, the floral magician behind Bloom 52, offered to deck out their boat and bring a bouquet so it seemed kind of perfect to hit the beach and little dock where they store their boat. Charlie, their smiling pup, came too! He absolutely loves the camera and I can’t wait to see him do his ring bearer duties at the wedding! Kiera and Dom have such a laid back, down to earth vibe about them and were totally go with the flow considering the night was unusually blustery. But wind makes for some amazing movement in photos and I love how they are totally at ease together. The best part was getting to take in the sunset and view of Thompson Island across the harbor from their dock. I can’t wait for their day!
