I am so excited to get to know you more. I bring my whole self to this work, which includes my fight for equity and justice. I am not a photographer who separates my beliefs and passions from photographing humans because I don’t believe they’re separate. I can't ask you to be vulnerable if I'm not willing to do the same.

Beavertail State Park Engagement
July 5, 2019
Rhian and Ryan met me at Beavertail State Park for their engagement session this past May. For a while there it started to feel as if their session would never happen since it refused to stop raining in New England for weeks on end. I’m so glad we waited though because we were gifted with the most epic sunset – clouds rolled in at one point and created such a heavenly glow before turning to a cotton candy sky. This was my first time at Beavertail State Park and I absolutely loved its New England charm of rocky coastline and sweeping views of the lighthouse. We were even lucky enough to catch a few sailboats off in the distance. Rhian and Ryan met doing indoor track at Springfield College and are both teachers now. Their engagement was a total surprise to Rhian – unbeknownst to her Ryan made his own ring box and they went on a trip to Newport. While out on the Newport Cliff Walk he proposed and had both their families waiting for them at dinner after! Ryan’s uncle will be marrying them tomorrow and I can hardly wait to celebrate these two!
We are so excited for tomorrow!!! We love you Rhian and Ryan!!
