I’m headed back to California in just a few short days, so I thought I should finally share my images from the Jessica Rieke Workshop I had the pleasure of attending in Los Angelos last April. Jessica is a fabulously talented film photographer whose Instagram I stumbled across when I was looking to grow my own film work. Shortly after following her, she announced that she was hosting a film focused workshop, and it coincided perfectly with school vacation week! So, I booked a ticket to LA and the rest is history. Jessica, Robin of RO & Co. Events, and an all star team of vendors put together the most gorgeous wedding editorial at Wattles Mansion, inspired by old Hollywood glam with touches of European inspiration. Wattles Mansion is situated up on a hill, tucked away in a little LA neighborhood, but you feel totally transported to Italy. Drawing on the natural landscape of the venue, Honeycomb Affair created floral magic, drawing on the vibrant reds, yellows, and creams to accent everything. And that California light? Yeeeeeeah, there’s actually nothing sweeter. It’s freaking magical. Have fun playing film or digital as you enjoy my favorites from the day.
