It’s a new year and all, but I’m finally just getting around to actually blogging all the magic that happened in 2018, and I couldn’t be more excited. Back last spring, in the lull before wedding season, I met up with Halie and Jon at the gorgeous Bay Field Farm. I was looking to continue building my film portfolio, and these two agreed to get in front of my lens! Halie is a fellow Boston area photographer, and it’s always nerve-wracking to photograph fellow photographers, but her and Jon made it so easy and fun. We spent most of the time laughing and commiserating about their three hours stuck in traffic getting to Duxbury. Turns out they had moved to southern New Hampshire since we had set up the session – what troopers! We explored the trails a bit, laughed a lot, climbed some rocks, and fought off evening gnats. I just loved how comfortable Halie and Jon were together, so so happy just being together. So many times people think they have to wait for a special moment or big occasion to get photos done, but as these photos show, just being together is reason enough to document your life. Every memories make for some of the best images.

Lovely photos. There is something magical about that pink and blue dress! It’s perfect!
Thank you! I know – I loved it too! That combination with the water really turned out perfect all together.
